Hello fellows,
Sub.: The real conversion
We are back to work again. Why not? That’s
life. Life prepares us for everything. Therefore, we are prepared for our next
condolences, manifestations, mass mourning, and protests alongside our merry
makings, Christmases, other festivals, and of course our respective businesses
and work. But we are not prepared to talk openly
about terrorism that’s the recent man-made force majeure! Yes we are afraid of
jihad, aren’t we? If I say Islam and Salim are anagrams, I might have a jihad
against me; if it’s not reason enough, I can say Mails and Islam and Salim are
anagrams; well take it like this...if mails come from Salim, it means warnings
have come from Islam, and the world would have reasons to worry! Then the Jihad
is surely in the offing! Well jokes part, I think until the time the 'when next, where next and how
next' becomes a reality, we’d be normal and happy-go-lucky
again! Our leaders will come from the greenrooms with a concerned makeup on
their faces. Listen I am not blaming anyone because leaders are also normal
human beings, like us, with ordinary passions and goals, not as extra-ordinary
as the school of terrorism! I congratulate them because they were able to
convert people from the land of Voltaire into shooting a group of
free-thinkers; a land which had gifted democracy to the world, imagine this
extra-ordinary achievement!! Kudos to the school of terrorism!
Every night I have a dream, a crazy
dream... that we are able to convert those students we call terrorists into accepting
differences, some of them had even turned into liberals and now protecting the
world instead of their earlier pursuits. But that’s just a dream... I know it
will never come true... our Intelligence has not given us any signs so far to
show that yes it can convert a group of terrorists into non-terrorists! But what
if it used its remote-sensing to keep track of every single weapon that’s being
produced on earth along with their movements? What if it could track the
virtual and physical classes where training on the conviction for killing in
the name of religion go on? Who takes them, how do they happen, and when do
they happen and o yes WHY do they happen! But no, our Intelligence needs to penalise
smokers smoking in the non-smoking zones.
Ever since these two incidents have
happened in Pakistan and France, I am thinking on the physical and virtual
dependencies that the school of terrorism had to factor!! Can you imagine how
those people were trained, given weapons of conviction to go out in the open
and kill? The students whom we call terrorists had to be mobilised and
empowered right in Medias Res to do what they did...and what was our remote
sensing doing?! I guess it was engaged in creating a fire alarm? Or some rocket
sciences!
So fellows, we have an engaging, a fascinating, a passionate work in front of us to ensure a cure for this migraine, don't we? Sometimes I wonder if we lack the conviction...do we need some students from the same school?! Can't we buy some of them? Well the school is buying some of us all the time! We need to see a drama of the highest form on stage please. The whole world has to
unite and put its Intelligence at stake to deliver. Ensure that not a drop of
gun, money, and training is mobilised towards the school of terrorism. From thinking
that the school is working under the instruction of Allah to kill unarmed
people unaware towards thinking that it is working against Allah is not a
small task, but this is what needs to be done, I think.
O I didn't tell you this... I also had this
dream that all of us, I mean literally all of us, were able to locate the physical
presence of the school of terrorism and... we were marching towards that
land to crush the school down once and for all with our sheer strength of population!
But when we were crushing it under our countless feet, I also saw us
doing it with love and power. That’s how the school of terrorism disappeared
from the face of the earth and those students whom we once called terrorists
got lost in the sea of crowd. And thus the mails that came from Salim got converted from warning to message on peace and acceptance from Islam!
