Sounds all around us,
each different in nature.
We're all here,
yet we seldom hear.
In a single moment,
everything can change—
an accident,
a terminal disease,
a pink slip.
Are we here to suffer?
Nothing has changed—
the accident,
the terminal disease,
the pink slip.
Yet perhaps
we are not here to suffer.
