need to know

need to know

information likes air,
blood, water; when it flows, grows
blocks, clots, corrupts

Words sound
Meanings found
Which to choose
Dove or goose

Sense flies
Letters freeze
Mind lies
As it is

run away and look

run away and look

you are as good or as bad as i am
this my bread, butter and jam

anyway you like cook your food
will be as bad or just as good

beyond this there's nothing to worry or think
all aligned, attuned and willing to drink

happy nest

happy nest

what i have
will wither away
what i am with me will stay

i am love
i am bliss
i am happiness over and above
in the nest of peace

outside the field

outside the field

in an open field
i saw krishna
playing with jesus
with a flute in his hand
i also met rumi
who showed me to me

Teaser

Teaser

How long will the seat remain on the ground?
It should be floating by now,
Could be on windy air or warm water around!
Neither will it prevent,
Nor allow.

It is full with beings,
Ears covered with stings,
Eyes closed with thoughts,
Knees marked
With bruised knots.

Mind has borrowed scratches in turn,
Legs limping without work to earn,
Hands heavy pushing the wall of dissent,
Tooth and claw crippled
With words thrown and sent

El Dorado and Xanadu have lost their ways to Eden?
The seat so still somehow carrying on and on,
Nothing gained nothing lost in the bargain!
Beggars begging beggars everywhere,
Without a drop of corn.

Role to play

Role to play

You have a role to play if you so long.
Puppets are the actors,
Frozen white and strong;
In silence
Audience,
Go to alter the authors.

Don’t sit and see Othello and Meursault
Kill Desdemona and the Arab,
Reason is out of dais you can’t even grab;
Don’t let the Montague and the Capulet,
In the confused and helpless hamlet,
Fight for nonsense; Audience!
Lovers, innocents kill and strangle to death,
Like you they too need their space and their breath,
You have watched so far with popcorn and coke
Bickering and simmering your bubbles did choke.

Hey audience! Are you there? Heard the poet screech?
‘Up! Up! my Friend, and quit your books;
Or surely you'll grow double:
Up! Up! my Friend and clear your looks;
Why all this toil and trouble!’

Off your seat-belts now and on to the stage!
Written word is here, out and off the page
Save the couples now and all those timid players
Who kill and breed killers with victimized rage!
The curtain falls; the audience sees
They are on the stage with countless layers
Actors with audience melting at ease
Released right inside their same old cage!

Go to alter the authors.
Audience,
In silence
Frozen white and strong;
Puppets are the actors,
You have a role to play if you so long.

Cheers!

Cheers!

I would try not to take part in pressure,
Lest I’d miss ‘le non-dit’ of a pleasure,
My peers are a kind urging to react;
With words that are said for a response so warm,
The play wouldn’t wind nor will the act,
Being in the game in the world full of charm!

Peers are all good wouldn’t mind them succeed,
I will find it through my own little deed,
I know I cannot rule for I cannot talk;
Let me serve the speech and let me just work,
We may not be the same sing the same melody,
For some may be crowned in silent symphony!

Taking off

Taking off

Throughout my line I was fooled and ridiculed,
It wouldn't even dawn it was because of me,
When I saw the sordid dude,
In the mirror clearly.

In declining real time,
I haven’t even thought to look at me with pride,
Words insipid, full of curse and crime,
Wherever I went I couldn't ever hide.

Am happy that it’s now coming to a pause;
Left a shadow bit to fly without a cause.

Here's to night

Here's to night

Day breaks night unites,
With light, we see and sense difference;
In darkness, trees, meadows and seas and borders
Appear just the same without fear, shame and disorders.

Night covers, comforts and blends,
At night, we seldom fight
Need to wait until comes the light;
White clouds do not rain.

Our mind is so set against black,
More often than not we seem to lack
The vision of the color that takes its form,
When all colors converge absorbs to reform
The mind that perhaps needs to check,
That all nights make the days that break.
