Jesus crucified
socrates poisoned
joan of arc burnt alive

this is justice
on this people-planet still
over war choose peace

tongues on hire

bears and monkeys
can’t for heavens speak
they do in fables to escape the bees

drama

between yes and no in and out
lamb meek and lion proud
playing hide and seek

Hatred is the salt in
our daily food jealousy doesn’t
need a smoking zone

in between rhetorics

age-old dispute between
litote and hyperbole
parts apart from the whole

chain of words in little sequence
food, water, air in absence
circle not tense

poem in the piano tree
me in doubt

Poet a prophet creatures
wander or the
puppets surrender

Tree chirps cells inside
sing city bombs veins sigh
shout in debris

information likes air,
blood, water; when it flows, grows
