ফুটবলের বিশ্ব মানচিত্রে ভারত

বল ফুটবল, আরো ফুটবল মোরা চাই
অলিম্পিকে ভারতকে যে নামতেই হবে ভাই।

যেখানে যত ফুটবল প্রেমিক আছ তাই

আওয়াজ তোলো দিকে দিকে সব্বাই, 
ফুটবলে আমরা বিশ্বের মানচিত্রে  
আমাদের ভারতবর্ষ-কে দেখতে চাই।

অলিম্পিকে ভারতকে যে নামতেই হবে ভাই।

আমাদের জনসংখ্যায় যুবকেরা একাকার
এর মধ্যে কয়েকজন মাত্র তুখোড় খেলোয়াড়,
তাও কেন আমরা করতে পারিনা তৈয়ার?

'বল বল বল সবে' ভারতবর্ষ কবে
ফুটবলের জগতে সসম্মানে তার
প্রবেশপত্রটি পাবে? ‘নবদিনমনি উদিবে'
নিশ্চয় ফুটবলের এই  মনোরম পুরবে!

অলিম্পিকে ভারতকে যে নামতেই হবে ভাই।

ফুটবল প্রেমিকের দল, তোরা চিৎকার করে বল
আমরা চাই জোয়ান ভারতকে দেখতে,
অলিম্পিকের ময়দানে দাপিয়ে ফুটবল খেলতে,
আমরা দেখতে চাই তাদের খেলার মাঠে
এদিক ওদিক ছুটে ছুটে গোল করতে।

অলিম্পিকে ভারতকে যে নামতেই হবে ভাই।

বল আমাদের ওহে ভগবান, অলিম্পিক ফুটবলে কবে
আদরের ভারতের গর্বিত পতাকা স্হাপিত হবে
গাইব কবে সবাই মিলে জাতীয় সঙ্গীতের জয়গান,
এ মহাযজ্ঞে কবে পাব মোরা আমাদের যোগ্যতম স্থান ।

ফুল, ফল, প্রজাপতি, মৌমাছি, 

আমি এসবের মধ্যেই আছি

চন্দ্র, সূর্য, নক্ষত্র, গ্রহতারা,

আমি তাদেরই মধ্যে হই হারা

পাহাড়, সমুদ্র, নদীনালা, পুকুর

এদের নেশাতেই আমি ভরপুর

ঊষা, গোধূলি, সকাল, সন্ধ্যায়

আমার দিনরাত আনন্দে আসে যায়। 

যদি কখনও কারো কোনও

কাজে আসতে পারি

তবে তাদের জন্য

মনপ্রাণ দিয়ে যেন 

তোমারই কাছে প্রার্থনা করি, 

'আমি করছি' এ মূঢ় অহংকার

সমূলে যেন তা করি গো সংহার। 

পশুপাখি, গাছপালা রকমারি

এদের সাথেই যেন থেকে যেতে পারি। 

মানুষের সাথে, মানুষের পাশে

যখনই থাকবে আমার দেহমন

তাদের মধ্যে তোমাকেই

যেন দেখি সর্বক্ষণ।

table, and overhauled
the reasons, then the
nefarious act to overpower
the global wherewithal
would see another
Mariupol,

Mariupol
is a reality, the vast
diaspora of soldiers,
people, refugees
die, flee, and cry
on the real ground,
it's not an orchestrated
sinfonietta
negotiated at the opera
if at all,
scaffolding another
Mariupol,

if you asked all
the leaders of the
countries to come
on to the field
as commoners,
as residents
of the planet,
they'd willingly yield,
none would defend
their stances,
some
would throw up 
that disastrously negative
and terrifying opium,
the one that for years
had intoxicated them
in a self-defeating entente,
they'd delete the playbook,
discard the game, and
join the peoples
of the world,
weep in unison
for the departed
souls,

'they' would reappear
as 'we', on the dais
the refrain would play
on the theatre hall,
we'd all sing along, 
we don't want the
repetition of another
Mariupol
