Statue
From in between truth and lie,
Secret and illusion,
A statue emerged with eyes closed;
The sculptor carved it when the
Moon was shining in his mind,
When masters of the school were
Busy alerting, warning their students
With cleverish couplets;
The sculptor had to take a call,
Was unmindful, caved inside…
With a moon in his mind;
The silver water that appeared like silk
Was as openly true as the milky grasses of the moon-bathed meadow
A cloth was ordered to cover the eyes and ears,
The sculptor covered the head.
A passer-by looked strangely as a friend;
The elusive statue is not what it appears to be.
From in between truth and lie,
Secret and illusion,
A statue emerged with eyes closed;
The sculptor carved it when the
Moon was shining in his mind,
When masters of the school were
Busy alerting, warning their students
With cleverish couplets;
The sculptor had to take a call,
Was unmindful, caved inside…
With a moon in his mind;
The silver water that appeared like silk
Was as openly true as the milky grasses of the moon-bathed meadow
A cloth was ordered to cover the eyes and ears,
The sculptor covered the head.
A passer-by looked strangely as a friend;
The elusive statue is not what it appears to be.
