Earth
is my Devaki*,

my Yashoda*.

this land, I worship
Jesus,
Krishna and Allah
Above
all, we celebrate friendship.
Today
is our Republic day,
Sweets
were shared on the borders,
I
wish this camaraderie to stay,
That
we realise we’re sisters and brothers.
