mesmerised

mesmerised

Nature
Dawn and dusk are the daily chores
Of nature to dissolve conflicts
Melting of snows into streams of water
Is nature’s way to melt rigidity
Sands on deserts and on the beach are nature’s
Way to show equanimity
Volcanoes and earthquakes are nature’s
Way to show life’s marginality

Creature

Caterpillars transforming into butterflies shows
Possibility without pride
Buds blooming into flowers makes no choice
Of place
Chirping of birds including crows shows acceptance
Without any scope for judgement

Humans
Sirdi Saibaba’s complete closure into black forests
Moving alone at nights shows submission to darkness
Budhha’s complete closure of eyes shows a plunge into lightlessness
All for enlightenment

Judgement
Crow is mean, cuckoo is not
Darkness needs to be avoided
Lets put Sirdi and Budhha into temples
And lock them up with garlands and perfumed sticks
Any unkind act is inhuman though committed by humans
Conflict survives in human flocks

evil is just another word

Evil is just another word

The real evil is
Human beings’ inability
To exercise consciousness
Against situations;

All mothers are good,
Mothers-in-law bad;
All daughters are dudes,
Daughters-in-law sad;

To languages and foods unheard untasted,
To dresses and faces unknown,
With values and processes re-instated,
By sub-groups of groups empowered with speech and eyebrows,
Shoot those sweet creatures wasted,
With words such as dirty pigs scarecrows;

Likewise:
The world over –
Landlords, bosses, colleagues too
Are born much before they appear anew
Like neighbours…

Else evil is just another word.

art listens

With ear in the heart
Listen to art inside earth
Dew drops grass the feet

soldiers fed warm

Bullets freeze in snow
Food is cooked and served so warm
Soldiers both sides fed

seasonal fruits

Trees dress up with fruits
Parrot pecks at the best one
Seasons leave and wander

cremation

Mother cremates child
Comes back home cooks and serves
Dogs drool at the food

Child cremates mother
Calls and looks whisper around
Feeds the surprised birds

Husband's humour

Lady dresses
Husband cleans the car and waits
Honking is risky

heatbye

Heat waves everywhere
Dark clouds surround suddenly
Air-conditioning

naturestop

Sheep graze on the bend
Cars with travellers wait
Shepherds take pictures

summer scene

Summer stares at ponds
Birds with pink beaks wide open
Watch the sun for rain
