The Fox and the Crane

The Fox and the Crane were just simple friends
One would run the other fly making to meet their ends.
They ate to their taste made no haste to have their friends’ food,
But one day they thought they’d change their tongue for bad or for good.
Hey Crane, said the Fox, why don’t you come to my den,
I’ll let you taste what I have, who knows you might try again!
Gladly so gladly the Crane went to eat in his spot,
Was touched to see the grub was served in an earthen pot.
The Crane went on and blew along all its huge wings,
No one knew with his voice too he dances and he sings!

I ate all o my pal                                             with my tall sharp beak,
I ate all so now the call                                   my joy is at its peak!
We drool, drool, drool
Our moves are so droll
We sing and dance so cool
To play and rock and roll
Da da titi ra…dara ra titi                                we are wee happy
Di di doodoo do …dooro didi di                     here to poop and pee!

O what I ate and how I ate was all so very good,
Now dear Fox you need to try a bit of what’s my food.

Gladly the Fox went along to meet his dear mate,
Tasty bit was now served in a huge plate.
Happiness kept flowing out of stout wagging tail,
On the ground he danced around with smile in every trail.
He swept the food still kept on licking with his tongue,
Wasn’t there a drop of grain nothing was unsung!

I ate all o my pal                                              with my broad sharp teeth,
I ate all so now the call                                    my joy is what I breathe!
We drool, drool, drool
Our moves are so droll
We sing and dance so cool
To play and rock and roll
Da da titi ra…dara ra titi                                we are wee happy,
Di di doodoo do …dooro didi di                     here to poop and pee!

Crane my friend I loved the way you had the grub nicely brought,
O dear fox I loved to eat the soup you served in that pot.
We don’t eat and look alike, not same are our trends,
Like us we unlike we’re too simple friends!

Jack and Jill

Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water,
Jack came down when he was done
And Jill came dancing after.

With them they bring a bird that sings,
It fell off from a tree,
They cared for it to cure its wings,
Until it flew was free.

Humpty Dumpty

Humpty dumpty sat on a chair,
Humpty dumpty sang with love and care.
All the king’s forces all the king’s men,
With Humpty Dumpty sang again and again!!

Sound-sense-silence

Sound-sense-silence

Sound, sense, silence are saplings from the soil
Seem slow and stable in our cells.
As unsung songs unseal
Seeking to save, see, solace our souls.

Flow

flow

Sound, sense, silence
O what friends wise!
All day long, from each one – steady and strong
They set, rise, arise
For good or for bad, for right or for wrong
They team and they tense.

Sound, sense, silence
O what words they are!
They are here to stay, inside and out
They trick and they mar,
Within each, they sink and they sprout
Beyond their means, and beside their fence.

Sound, sense, silence
O what matters they are found most everywhere!
Their hide and seek and howl,
By fair means or foul,
Played from the front to the rear
In their defense, offense.

The sound of sense,
Lies perhaps in silence!
And the silence in sound,
With sense on the round,
Comes and goes
As feelings or as words,
Or matter that flows,
For better or for worse!

Lure failure

Lure failure

I have failed in many of my tries
Hope is a burnt toast, faith here dries.

Suddenly O suddenly I see a seed sown
I cover, uncover, recover - to discover my own.

Failures have failed to keep me mighty low
I gained again the energy, the journey starts to glow.

Welcome dude

Welcome dude

In and out
It’s time to sprout

Pull and push
One more in the bush

Keep or scratch
Trash or thatch
Give or take
Make or break
Nest or fuss
Onus on us

Coz it didn’t even ask
If it’s fun or a task
So when it is to come
To it we welcome.

My pleasure

My pleasure

The night is calm and sweet
Time has stopped. No noise - no beat

Closed are your lips, so pretty close
The poem has them locked, as an unending prose
Eyes are shut, you shut within
A feather on bed, your Self has been
You move like a fish, to swim it around
My Self sings a song, with not a little sound
The night is so calm, all full of charm
We ease out the night, and rest in its arm
Tired are you, awake asleep
Happy are you to have taken the leap

Calm is the night, so tender and thin
My prose just arrived with a poem within.

Hutapatalahoo

Hutapatalahoo

Hey silky grumpy face
Sadly grimace race
Come sing and dance and play
Do hutapatalahoo

With terror in the brain
Horror all in vain
Killing gunning men
Women and children
Living dying when
No one knows you do?
So hutapatalahoo

Jerk it joke it phoo
Sense has no sense too
Hugging kissing do
Say hutapatalahoo

Moon is coming soon
Night has become noon
Covered men have come
To shoot and kill us some
Donno. You-know-who?
So hutapatalahoo

Rocking rolling do
Meaning freaking too
Just loving living do
Do hutapatalahoo

Bless you dress you nude
Hey all of us are dude
To rude and shrewd and crude
Drop the fight and feud
Let us live all do
To hutapatalahoo

Do so say so do
To hutapatalahoo
More hitting hurting do
We living loving do
More horror terror do
More vanish finish do
We magic music do

We hutapatalahoo
Just hutapatalahoo
